Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility. Registration is open to individuals of Cook Islands heritage who are eligible to represent the Cook Islands. CIRLYQ reserves the right to verify heritage claims and decline any registration.

2. Selection. Registration does not guarantee selection. Final team selection is at the sole discretion of CIRLYQ management. Selected players and staff will be notified individually.

3. Levy Fees. Levy Fees must be paid prior to engaging in training and full payments of player fees are due within 7 days of selections.

4. Remaining Payment. A remaining payment of $220 is required within 7 days to confirm your position and secure your place in the selected Seniors QPICC 2026 squad.

5. Refund Policy. Levy fees cover your participation during training and tournaments. Refund requests may only be considered after the full $220 payment has been received should your circumstances change for any reason after selections have been finalised and full payment has been made. Juniors are able to request a refund should their circumstances change as well. All refund requests are to be made in writing to treasurer@cirlyq.com.au

6. Code of Conduct. All registrants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times. CIRLYQ reserves the right to remove any participant who breaches this code without refund.

7. Working With Children. All coaches and managers must hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) prior to working with players under 18. Participation will not be permitted without a verified card.

8. Photography. Photography and Videography will take place at all events, functions and tournaments. If there are any legal reasons you cannot be filmed, please consult with CIRLYQ Management prior to registering.

9. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Privacy Policy

CIRLYQ — Cook Island Rugby League & Youth Development QLD collects personal information (name, date of birth, contact details, and photographs) solely for team selection and participation in QPICC 2026. Your information is stored securely and is accessible only to authorised team management. We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law.

SMS Communications: If you provide a phone number and consent to SMS, we will contact you about your registration, selection, and payment. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Data Retention: Personal information will be retained for 12 months following QPICC 2026 and then securely deleted.

Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact CIRLYQ management to make a request.

By submitting this registration you consent to the collection and use of your information as described above in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
